Jinnah Intl. Airport
The most practical way of travelling to Karachi city center from Quaid–E–Azam International Airport is getting on a taxi. You can have a comfortable transportation vehicle during your whole travel by renting a car. However, you should keep in mind that the traffic can be heavy and drivers generally don’t obey the traffic rules. Buses and minibuses are also among the options.
Car Rental
At the airport, you can find the car rental offices of Avis and some local companies. You can reach the city center in about 30 minutes by connecting to the highway N5 after going out of the airport.
Bus / Minibus
You can reach the city center by getting on a bus from the bus stops located in front of the airport. The ticket price is 50 Pakistani Rupee. The travel lasts about 50 minutes under normal traffic conditions. It is also possible to reach the city center by using a minibus. These vehicles are cheaper but tourists may be charged higher amounts. In addition, minibuses are very crowded. For these reasons, buses are more preferred by foreign visitors.
