About Dalaman
A popular destination for holidays and yacht enthusiasts during the summer months, the Dalaman district of Muğla boasts an international airport and has a local year-round population of about 35,000, which balloons in the summertime.
Dalaman enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate with hot and dry summers, and mild and rainy winters. Yachting tourism is also quite advanced in Dalaman. The most important attribute of the airport in Dalaman is that it connects other cities to touristic districts such as Fethiye and Marmara by air. The airport is 70 km from Fethiye and 105 km from Marmaris. It is also the airport of choice for those travelling to some of Antalya’s districts like Kaş and Kalkan. HAVAŞ also provides shuttle service to Fethiye Bus Terminal, which is also the city center. The buses passing through Göcek reach Fethiye in about one hour.
