About Cagliari
Located in Sardinia, Italy, Cagliari is one of the island’s and country’s most remarkable cities. This typical Italian city has always been an important settlement throughout history. Cagliari constitutes one of the major ports of Sardinia, the Mediterranean’s second largest island, after Sicily. Cagliari has a typical Mediterranean climate.
The city is famous for the Cagliari Cathedral, Torre di San Pancrazio, and the magnificent Poetto beach. Cagliari is a place where many tourists prefer to vacation in the summer. The restaurants that stretch out along the coast offer delicious Italian dishes as well as flavors from international cuisine. The best time to visit the city would be in the summer, which gets even busier thanks to the holiday season. Even though the staff in the tourist heavy areas speak English, we would recommend learning a few Italian words and sayings before coming.
