About Aragip
Aragip is located at the southeast end of the mainland section of Papua New Guinea. This small city is located in a mountainous and wooded area, somewhat isolated from its surroundings. Aragip is a difficult city to reach by road because of the surrounding jungle, which is why it has a small airport for access even though the population is relatively small. Aragip is not a touristic city, but like the entire country of Papua New Guinea has a natural beauty that will never disappoint any visitors who travel there. Thanks to the lush surrounding forests and mountainous areas, climbing and hiking lovers would especially enjoy a visit to Aragip. It is also an interesting and enjoyable experience to observe the local people who have kept their lifestyle, tradition, and culture intact for centuries. Aragip is also influenced by the equatorial climate as Papua is in the whole of New Guinea. However, unlike the whole country, the temperatures are relatively cooler due to the high elevation.
