Located along the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan’s capital Baku is a rising star in the East gaining notoriety for its oil, gas, and caviar. However, to get to the airport from the city center you have to first take the metro and then get on a bus. From central locations in the city like the Old City, Cafer Cabbari, and Khatai you can take the metro to the 28 May and Koroglu stations. From here you can get on bus line 116, which runs to the airport or take a taxi to the airport.
Personal Car
Since the city is rich in oil, fuel is cheap, making traveling by car a very attractive option. Getting to the city center from the airport is very easy. One of the city’s most important avenues, Heydar Aliyev Avenue will connect you to the Boyuk Shor Highway, which goes to the airport. From the highway take the Airport exit. The airport contains indoor and outdoor parking lots where you can park your personal car for a certain fee.

Palanga International Airport, located close to the Baltic Sea, is located 7 kilometers away from Palanga city center. From the airport to the city center, it is possible to take a bus, taxi or car rental option. You can reach the city center in 15-20 minutes at the latest.
Bus
The most practical and economical way to reach the city center from Palanga airport is, of course, to use city buses. When you arrive at the airport, get out of the terminal and you will encounter multiple bus stops. Then you can reach the city center in 10 minutes and Klaipeda in 35 minutes if you catch the bus number 100. The fare for the bus number 100 that you can take from Klaipeda bus stop outside the terminal is only 0.70 Euros. But, the passengers who will go to Klapieda have to buy the ticket that costs 2 Euro. You can obtain your ticket from the driver once you get on the bus or at the ticket sales points in the terminal.
Taxi
