Camaguey is the third largest city in Cuba. Its economy is based largely on cattle breeding and sugar beet production but recently, increased tourism started to become one of the sources of income. Due to the geographical location, Camaguey’s climate is tropical, the summer months are hot and dry, while the winter months are quite humid. It is known that July is the hottest month in the region. 
Some of the must-see places of Camaguey are Plaza Del Carmen, Galeria Martha Jimenez, Plaza San Juan De Dios, Centro Storico, Inglesia De Nuestra Senora De La Merced and Catedral de Senora De La Candelaria.
