Transportation to Airport from Yerevan City Center
Zvartnots Intl. Airport
It is very easy to reach Zvartnos Airport from every point in the city. You can reach the airport, which is nearly 13 kilometers away from the city center, in 15 minutes. You can get to the airport by choosing from the public transportation alternatives such as bus, minibus and metro, by taking a taxi or driving your car.
Bus
Buses and minibuses are the most frequently used public transportation vehicles in Yerevan. The routes of buses and the minibuses called marshrutka are connected to each other and so you can easily reach the airport from anywhere in the city.
It is possible to reach the airport directly by bus from the best-known central points of the city, such as Opera House, Tigran Mets av., Khanjyan st., Abovyan st., Yeritasardakan.
The buses N107 and N108 directly go to the airport. In addition, the bus number 18 has services between the airport and the main railway station of Yerevan. If you have arrived in the city by train, you can reach the airport in 20-25 minutes by taking the bus 18.
Marshrutka (Minibus)
The marshrutka is the most popular means of public transportation in the city thanks to the high number of routes and lines. You can see the marshrutkas that directly go to the airport from every point of the city. If there is not a marshrutka line going to the airport from where you are, you can easily reach the airport in 30 minutes transferring by bus or metro because marshrutka lines are connected to metro and bus stops. It is also possible to come across the marshrutka minibuses from Tbilisi's Ortachala bus station to Yerevan.
Minibus drivers usually wait until the minibus is full. There are more than 100 marshrutka routes serving in Yerevan. The minibus number 23, which is the most preferred line, departs from the main railway station and goes to Kilikia central bus station. This route also passes through the city center. Marshrutkas departing from Kilikia bus station go to almost everywhere in Yerevan. You can directly get to the airport by taking the marshrutka 18 from this station.
Metro
Yerevan metro has a total of 10 stops with a single line of 13.4-km length. The metro serves between 6:30 am and 11 pm every day of the week and it is connected to the main bus station and the railway station as well.
The busiest metro station is the Hanrapetutyan Hraparak station next to Republic Square, which is the center of Yerevan. Yeritasardakan, which is very close to the Opera House that is another central point, and Zoraver Andranik opposite the cathedral are also another practical metro stations.
The Sassountsi David area, where the Yerevan railway station is located, is also connected to the metro network and so transportation becomes easy to a great extent. The boarding fee has been fixed for years; it is possible to buy tickets from the stations by paying 100 Drams.
Taxi
There are two types of taxis in the city; the taxis you can take directly on streets and the taxis you can get by phone. Zvartnots Airport, which was established in 1961, is about 13 kilometers away from Yerevan city center, on the west of the city center. In 2004, the construction of a new terminal was started and it continues to increase its passenger capacity day by day. The airport has three terminals in total as Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and VIP Terminal. Transportation to Yekaterinburg City Center from Airport
Koltsovo Intl. Airport
Yekaterinburg, which is the most crowded city of Russia in terms of population density, is also the fourth largest city after Moscow, St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk. Yekaterinburg, which has a population of 1.5 million, is located 1677 km east of Moscow and in the middle of the Ural Mountains which is on the border of Europe and Asia. While the city's transportation network is very wide and developed, there is a great diversity of public transportation vehicles.
In general, the means of public transportation are bus, trolleybus, metro, tramway, train, marshrutka and taxi. Apart from these, the number of visitors benefitting from the car rental services is also high. You can get information from the Yekaterinburg tourism office in the city center about the map of the city transportation network. There are two big bus stations and a train station in the city. These three stations are open from 06:00 am to 12:00 at midnight. There are two main bus stations in Yekaterinburg and these stations are called as the north and south. At these bus stations there are ATM, a few markets and stores, eating and drinking places. In addition, there is also a smaller bus station compared to the north and south stations. This station is located just near the airport.

Train
Yekaterinburg train station is about 2.5 km north of the city center. It is very easy to reach Yekaterinburg by train. At the same time, from this station there are regular daily trains to other important and major cities of Russia. It is very comfortable to reach the important cities like St. Petersburg and Moscow with the trains departing from Yekaterinburg train station by paying 30-150 euros. There are two-way express trains that provide continuous transportation service between Koltsovo Airport and Yekaterinburg train station. The stops are; Koltsovo Airport, Koltsovo, Kompresorniy, Lechebniy, Chapaevskaya, Putevka, Shartosh, Pervemayskaya and Ekaterinburg-Passazhirskiy. By taking one of the express train routes 6040 and 6038, it is very budget-friendly and practical to travel from the airport to Yekaterinburg city center. Metro

Tramway
There are totally 30 different tramway routes serving in the city. Travelling to almost every part of the city by tramway is an easy and economical option. All tramway routes operate from 06:00 am to 11:00 pm. It is possible to buy tramway tickets from automatic ticket vending machines found at stations or stops. It is a great convenience that you can also use the ticket you buy for travelling by bus, trolleybus and metro.
The fare you need to pay for travelling by tramway is 24 rubles. However, it can be more economical to use public transportation tickets that are valid for 3 days and 350 rubles. Tramway routes 21, 27 and 32 go to the city center from Hotel Sverdlovsk (on the square just across the train station), the most famous hotel in the city. Tramway route 3 provides transportation between the train station and Lenin Avenue, one of Yekaterinburg's busiest streets.
Taxi
Taxi is one of the most convenient and budget-friendly means of transportation in the city which has a heavy traffic. The average taxi fares are 25 rubles per kilometer and the running fare is 160 rubles. Of course, make sure the taxi driver turns on the taximeter and try to bargain about the price. It is possible to get to the city center comfortably and quickly in 25-30 minutes by taking one of the taxis waiting outside the arrivals terminal of Koltsovo Airport. Just like taxis, yellow-colored minivan vehicles are waiting for passengers at the exit of the airport. They operate between 07:00 am and 10:00 pm. Since the main offices of these companies are located in Yekaterinburg city center, it is possible to prevent possible loss of time by leaving your car at the airport before leaving the city.
