About Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv, located on the Mediterranean coast of Israel, is a modern city known for its vibrant culture, thriving tech scene, and beautiful beaches. With a population of over 460,000, Tel Aviv is a hub for innovation, nightlife, and the arts, offering a dynamic blend of urban sophistication and coastal charm.

Tel Aviv has a Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. The best time to visit is from March to May and September to November, when the weather is pleasant for outdoor activities and exploring the city’s attractions.

Ben Gurion International Airport, situated about 20 kilometers southeast of the city, is Israel’s main gateway. While there are no direct flights from Saudi Arabia to Tel Aviv, Saudi Arabian citizens can travel to the city via connecting flights through international hubs such as Istanbul, Amman, or Dubai. Airlines like Turkish Airlines, Royal Jordanian, and Emirates provide convenient options.

Tel Aviv’s culinary scene reflects its cosmopolitan character, offering a mix of Middle Eastern and international cuisines. Popular dishes include hummus, falafel, shakshuka (poached eggs in spiced tomato sauce), and sabich (a pita sandwich with eggplant and egg). The city’s bustling markets, such as Carmel Market, and upscale restaurants cater to all tastes.

Tel Aviv is home to diverse attractions. The White City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, features Bauhaus-style architecture, while the ancient port of Jaffa offers historic charm and art galleries. The Tel Aviv Museum of Art and Habima Square are cultural highlights, and the city’s beaches, including Gordon Beach and Frishman Beach, are perfect for relaxation.

Saudi Arabian citizens require a visa to visit Israel. Applications must be submitted to the nearest Israeli consulate or embassy, and the process involves providing a valid passport, proof of accommodation, a return ticket, and travel insurance. Upon approval, travelers can enjoy the offerings of Tel Aviv.
