Lincoln is located in the U.S state of Nebraska. Established in 1856 as a village named Lachester, the city was recognized as the state capital in 1867.

The city has a humid terrestrial climate and has four seasons. The summer is quite hot with an average of 30C/86F in the summer, but it is also the summer months when rain is most visible.
