Transportation to Fukuoka City Center from Airport
Fukuoka Airport
Fukuoka Airport, located 3 kilometers east of Hakata Station in Fukuoka city center, is the 4th largest airport in Japan in terms of passenger traffic. You can take the metro from metro station outside the arrival terminal, or take the city buses to get to the city center from Fukuoka Airport. Alternatively, you can also take one of the taxis at Fukuoka Airport. If you are going to stay in Fukuoka for a long time and visit other cities in Japan, you can also rent a car at the airport. Metro
You can take the metro in Hakozaki direction from the metro station located at the exit of Fukuoka Airport arrivals terminal.
