Male Airport has three different terminal buildings where international and regional flights and sea plane flights are held from.

The airport has a health center where you can find all the health services and a pharmacy where you can get your medicines. There is also a babysitting room at the airport, where children are also considered. There is a computer room with internet access for those who need it, shower rooms, a mosque for Muslims, a private room for smokers at the airport, where wheeled luggage carrying vehicles make it easier for passengers.

In addition to these, bank ATMs, where you can make your money transactions, are located at the terminal where the regional flight are held from. In the main terminal, there is a mail office where you can post your mail. Services at Male Airport also include shopping and eating and drinking places. Metro

The city has a very developed metro line that connects directly to the airport. The MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) metro station is located in the main terminal building. The red and gold lines run directly from the airport to the main stops in the city’s commercial center, such as Five Points, Civic Center, and Peachtree. The metro runs every 15 minutes and travels to the city center in about 15-17 minutes. From the Five Points station you can transfer to the green or blue line, which provide access to other important parts of the city.

There is a shuttle service that provides transportation between the airport and various hotels and another shuttle service that provides transportation between the airport and the city center and commercial center. Buses are located in between the south and north domestic terminals in the Green Zone. Buses to Five Points only take 15 minutes. These buses depart every 30 minutes and reservations are required.

Taxi

Another transportation alternative to get to the city center is by taxi, especially when you consider how short that distance is. Taxis run on a fixed rate to major areas in the city center. Taxis are located in the Yellow Bus aisle, just outside the baggage claim area. For a more luxurious ride to the city center there are over 300 companies that provide limousine transportation to the city center. You must make a reservation for this service beforehand.

Rental Car

As the world’s busiest airport, Atlanta Airport offers a rich variety of rental car companies to choose from. There are 13 rental car companies located at the airport, offering a fleet of hundreds of vehicles. To get to the city center from the airport by car connect to the I-85 N from the Terminal Parkway. This freeway will take you to the city center.
