Seville, the central and most important city of the Andalusian Autonomous Region in the south of Spain, is an inner harbor, thanks to the Guadalquivir River, although it is 87 kilometers away from the Atlantic Ocean. There is an airport in Seville, which is also an important shipbuilding center. There are several alternatives to transport from the airport.

Bus

The most important means of transportation to be used on the way to the city from the airport which is 15 kilometers away from Armas Square (Plaza de Armas) in the city center is the buses. EA named buses carry passengers to Seville's center every half hour. During an average half-hour journey, the buses also come to the train station where the rail system lines, called AVE, are integrated. They work between 05.20 in the morning and 01.15 in the night.

Taxi

At the Seville Airport, the taxis are located at the exit of all terminals. The taxis that you can take from here reach Armas Square in the city center in about 15 minutes. During this trip, which is not costly, you will pass through Seville Museum of Fine Arts, the coast of Guadalquivir, and the historic city center called Macarena.

Car Rental

Car rental is also an important alternative to travel in Seville and reach Seville from the airport. The airport has many international and national car rental companies’ offices. With the car you will rent from here you have to follow the road named Autovia del Sur in the west direction and reach Ronda Urbana. This road leads you to Juventudes Musicales Boulevard and Concejal Alberto Jimenez - Becerril Boulevard, which runs along the Guadalquivir River. The other side of the boulevard is Armas Square.
