Transportation to Airport from Kuala Lumpur City Center

Kuala Lumpur Intl. Airport

Located about 45 km from the city center, KLIA is accessible by bus, train, taxi, and rental car. Each one of these methods of transportation offer their own advantages and provide passengers with a convenient way to get to the airport.

Taxi

Taxis are available everywhere in the city and provide quick transportation from the city center to KLIA. Although taxis are a bit more expensive the fact that they are one of the fastest ways of getting to the airport makes it cost-effective. Bus

Buses are another method of transportation you can choose to get to KLIA from the city center. Buses are a more affordable option when compared to other transportation alternatives but they are also a slower option.

Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport was the main international airport of Kuala Lumpur, until Kuala Lumpur International Airport was opened. Today Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport serves general aviation and turboprop flights. The airport is used for charter flights and domestic and international turboprop flights. Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport is located about 30 km from the Kuala Lumpur city center.

Taxi

The most common transportation alternative to get to the airport from the city center is by taxi. Taxis might not be the most affordable option but they are the fastest. The total trip from the city center takes about 40 minutes.

Bus

Transportation to Abu Dhabi City Center from Airport

Abu Dhabi International Airport

Abu Dhabi International Airport is 30 kilometers east of the city center. You can easily reach the city center by shuttle bus, city bus or taxi. You can also rent a car from companies located in the city center and at the airport.

Taxi is one of the alternatives that can be considered to reach the city. The most common means of transport in Abu Dhabi is taxi. Renting a car is one of the most reasonable options for transportation in Abu Dhabi. Because the United Arab Emirates is a fortunate country in terms of oil reserves, oil prices are quite low.
