Transportation to Airport from Djibouti City Center
Djibouti–Ambouli Int Airport
The distance between Djibouti-Ambouli International Airport and city center is only 5 kilometers. It is possible to reach the airport from the city center in a short time. You can be at the airport in about 20 minutes under normal traffic conditions by getting on a taxi or renting a car in the city center. Travelling to the airport by taxi costs about 1800-2000 Djibouti Franc. From 09:00 pm to 06:00 am, the taxi fares increase by at least 50%. On the other hands, some hotels in the city offer airport shuttle service for their guests. Some hotels offer this service for free. Taxi
Taxis are one of the few ways to use for the transportation to the city from the Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport, which is the only airport of Lebanon. To get to the city, first of all you need to follow Hafez Al-Assad Street at the exit of the airport in the north direction. The name of this road, after a few kilometers later, will be Salim Salam and then it will change as Ahmad Mukhtar Beyhum Street. This road will lead you directly to the Nejmeh Square.
