You should drive in the north direction for about 26 kilometers on the highway GC-1 extending along the coast in order to travel from Gran Canaria Airport to the city center. There are three bus routes departing from the airport. The bus route 60 connects the airport to the city center. The travel lasts about thirty minutes under normal traffic conditions. You can get to Maspalomas, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations of the region, in about 45 minutes. The bus route 5 operates between Las Palmas city center and Maspalomas and passes through the airport. Ticket price is 2,30 Euro. The buses depart every 20 minutes and operate from 05:25 am to 11:20 pm during the week.
